Trash collection permit fee. The permit fee for any person desiring
to engage in the collection of trash or refuse shall be $50, payable
in advance, to the Department of Public Health.
The permit fee for special collections as provided in §
279-5 of Chapter
279, Article
I, Garbage and Refuse Collection, shall be in accordance with the following schedule:
A. Bulk trash items such as furniture, bedsprings, mattresses and similar
items, but not including appliances, shall be $10 for two or less
such items, with each additional item being $5.
B. Medium-sized appliances, such as washers, dryers, hot water heaters,
dehumidifiers, and items of similar size, shall be $20 for each such
item.
C. Heavy appliances, such as boilers, furnaces and items of similar
size, or appliances containing refrigerants that must be reclaimed
prior to disposal, such as air conditioners, refrigerators or freezers,
shall be $25 for each such item.
D. Computer CPUs: $2; computer monitors: $8; computer keyboards: $1;
residential computer printers: $3, for each such item.
E. Televisions zero-inch to nineteen-inch: $10; twenty-inch to thirty-six-inch:
$15; over thirty-six-inch: $20; for each such item.
F. Stereos, tape players, video equipment, including VCRs and DVD players
and similar electronic equipment: $1, for each such item.
The permit fee for connection to a holding tank shall be $10
for every 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof of capacity of the tank
to which the connection is made.
The following fees and charges are hereby established:
A. For filing of application and plans to locate, drill, install or
alter a well and pumping system for an individual residence, agricultural
or fire use, the fee shall be $25.
B. For filing of application and plans to locate, construct, drill,
install or alter a well and pumping system for any commercial use,
the fee shall be $50.
C. For issuing of certificate of compliance with the condition of the
permit: $1.
D. For each reinspection, caused by failure of the permittee to locate,
construct, install or alter an installation in accordance with the
terms of permit, a fee of $5 shall be charged.
