The Board of Supervisors of Upper Macungie Township has deemed
it necessary for the public safety to create names for all public
and private ways to assist emergency services personnel in locating
persons and property within the Township.

No public or private street shall be opened without being named
and a sign containing that name being placed in a location deemed
appropriate by the Township. No public or private street may be named
without the approval of the Board of Supervisors. Names for public
and private streets may be established by a separate resolution of
the Board of Supervisors or at the time said street is ordained as
a public road within the Township.
