Milk or milk products made from milk having a bacteria plate
count not in excess of 20,000 per milliliter or a coliform count not
exceeding 10 per milliliter and which milk or milk products are processed
in compliance with the requirements for Grade A pasteurized milk and
milk products as promulgated by the New Mexico Department of Health
and Social Services Regulations Governing the Grading and Grade Leveling
of Milk and Milk Products, adopted by the State Board of Public Health
on February 12, 1956, and subsequent amendments thereto.
Unlawful act. No person shall sell or offer for sale within the City
any milk or milk products except those qualifying as Grade A pasteurized
milk or milk products.
All fresh, frozen or processed meat other than fish or poultry
which originated in any state, nation or country outside the continental
United States of America with the exception of Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto
Rico and the Virgin Islands.
Unlawful act. No person shall sell, offer for sale, display for sale
or advertise for sale within the City any imported meat unless such
meat shall be labeled as imported meat, and shall have been slaughtered,
processed and handled in conformity with "The Wholesome Meat Act of
1967" as enforced by the US Department of Agriculture.
