It is hereby declared that the enactment of this article is necessary for the protection, benefit and preservation of the health, safety and welfare of residents of Spring Garden Township.
Unless the context specifically and clearly indicates otherwise, the meaning of the terms used in this article shall be as defined in the Pennsylvania Worker and Community Right to Know Act, Act No. 159 of 1984, enacted October 5, 1984.[1]

Copies of all lists of hazardous substances, hazardous substance survey forms (HSSF), environmental hazard survey forms (EHSF) and material safety data sheets (MSDS), as each of said terms are defined in the Pennsylvania Worker and Community Right to Know Act, Act No. 150 of 1984, enacted October 5, 1984, shall be filed with the Spring Garden Township Fire Chief by the person responsible to compile, produce or provide said lists, forms or data sheets within 10 days after the date on which each of said documents is required to be compiled, produced and/or posted under said act.
Any person, partnership or corporation who or which shall violate any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 plus costs. In default of the payment of such fine and costs, such person, the members of such partnership or the officers of such corporation shall be subject to imprisonment for not more than 30 days. Each day that a violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
