The Board of Supervisors of South Strabane Township
hereby agrees to enter into a cooperative agreement with Chartiers
Township, which will provide for each party to provide assistance
with fire protection. A copy of said agreement is attached hereto
and made a part hereof and marked Exhibit "A."[1]

This agreement shall remain in effect until
terminated as provided in the agreement.
It is not necessary for South Strabane Township
to finance said agreement or create any organization to implement
the agreement, nor will any property, real or personal, be acquired,
managed or disposed.
The Chairman and Secretary of the Board of Supervisors
are authorized to execute such agreement on behalf of the Township.
The Board of Supervisors is further authorized
to enter into and to execute cooperative agreements with adjacent
municipalities to provide assistance with fire protection.
