A. 
Authority to abate. The Code Enforcement Officer shall abate any violation against this chapter if the owner of the property upon whom the compliance order is served fails, neglects or refuses to abate a violation within the prescribed amount of time granted by the Code Enforcement Officer.
B. 
Reimbursement and surcharge. The owner of the property shall reimburse this City for the actual cost plus a service charge of 50% thereof to cover cost of supervision and administration.
C. 
Subsequent violations. The owner of any property found in violation of this chapter shall be notified in writing only once in any given year for a particular violation. Subsequent violations of a same nature at the location during the same calendar year shall be corrected by the City or its agent without notice to the owner, occupant or person having control of said property. After initial notification, such owner, occupant or person having control of said property will be presumed to have been given sufficient notice of infraction for the entire calendar year.
