Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 3 of the Village Law,
the Office of Village Clerk may be held by a person who is not a resident
of the Village of Scottsville, provided that such person resides in
the County of Monroe.
Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 3 of the Village Law,
any appointed Village officer need not be a resident of the Village
of Scottsville, provided that the person who is an appointed Village
officer resides in the County of Monroe.
