The compensation of the elected Tax Collector of the Township of Harrison, taking office the first Monday of January 2014 as tax collector for said Township be and the same is fixed and determined at 1% of said Township taxes collected and remitted by said Tax Collector during the term of office for which the Tax Collector was elected, subject to a maximum of $10,000 as provided by the Local Tax Collection Law.
Commencing in January 2014, compensation for the appointed position of Township Treasurer shall be fixed from time to time by resolution of the Board of Commissioners.[1]

Audit of Township accounts as provided in the First Class Township Code shall hereafter be done by an independent auditor who shall be either a certified public accountant registered in Pennsylvania, a firm of certified public accountants so registered, or a competent public accountant, or a competent firm of public accountants.

The independent accountant shall be appointed annually by resolution of the Board of Township Commissioners.

The independent accountant shall have and posses all the powers and perform all the duties provided by the First Class Township Code for elected auditors.
