On petition of Mrs. Robert Maloney and nine other legal voters
of the Town of Hampton to see if the Town will vote to authorize the
construction of a permanent aircraft spotting station equipped with
electricity, heat, telephone, and other necessary services for the
purpose of civilian defense and to raise and appropriate the necessary
sums of money therefor. Article 27 was moved and seconded. Amendment
to raise and appropriate $500 for the construction of the station
was moved, seconded and passed in the affirmative. Amendment that
said funds be left to the discretion of the Chief of Civil Defense
was moved, seconded and passed in the affirmative.

Article 27 of the warrant of the Annual Town Meeting of March
9, 1954 as amended was voted in the affirmative. See pages 9, 33 and
