The purpose of this district is to reserve and protect publicly
owned lands for recreational, historical or other public purposes.
In the P Public District, only the following uses are authorized:
A. Permitted uses.
(1) Principal uses.
(a)
Active recreation, low-impact.
(d)
Oil and gas well operations, subject to §
350-107.
(2) Accessory uses.
(a)
Communications antenna mounted on an approved communications tower, subject to §
350-106.
(c)
Off-street parking and loading, subject to Article
XVII.
(e)
Other accessory uses customarily incidental to and on the same
lot with any permitted use, conditional use or use by special exception
authorized in this district.
B. Conditional uses.
(1) Principal uses.

C. Uses by special exception.
In the P Public District, all uses shall be subject to the following regulations, except as they may be modified by the express standards and criteria for the specific conditional uses and uses by special exception contained in Article
XV.
A. Minimum lot area:
(1) Community park: 20 acres.
(2) Public building: one acre.
B. Minimum lot width:
(1) Community park: 200 feet.
(2) Public building: 125 feet.
C. Maximum lot coverage: 5%.
D. Minimum front yard: 50 feet.
E. Minimum rear yard:
(1) All principal structures:
(a)
Adjoining any R-A, R-1, R-2 or R-3 District: 50 feet.
(b)
Adjoining all other districts: 25 feet.
(2) Accessory structures: 15 feet.
F. Minimum side yard:
(1) All principal structures:
(a)
Adjoining any R-A, R-1, R-2 or R-3 District: 50 feet.
(b)
Adjoining all other districts: 15 feet.
(2) Accessory structures: 15 feet.

I. Maximum height:
(1) All principal structures: three stories, but no more than 45 feet.
(2) All accessory structures: one story, but no more than 20 feet.
