The discharge, firing or use of firecrackers, rockets, torpedoes,
Roman candles, cannons, canes or other fireworks or substances designed
and intended for pyrotechnic display is hereby prohibited. Provided
that the Mayor or Council may order or allow the public display of
fireworks by properly qualified individuals. Provided also, that such

not be hazardous to surrounding property or endanger any person or
persons. Caps and cap pistols containing chlorate or potash mixture

rescind their use and sale.

the Fire Department may, at his discretion, remove or have removed
at the owner's expense, all stocks of fireworks or other combustible
exposed for sale, or held in stock in violation of this ordinance.
Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of disorderly conduct and
be fined not less than $5 nor more than $25 for each day's neglect
of compliance.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the foregoing
are hereby repealed.
