No person shall engage in the business commonly known as the
junk business within the village, without obtaining a license therefor.
Such license may be issued by the Village Clerk upon payment of the
sum of $15 for a term of one year and expire on the 31st of May next
succeeding.
PERSON — Shall include persons, corporations
or associations.
Any person violating this ordinance or any part thereof shall
be liable for and forfeit and pay a penalty not exceeding $50 for
each offense, except as otherwise provided herein.
Any violation of this ordinance or any part thereof, shall constitute
disorderly conduct, and any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be and is hereby declared a disorderly person.
If any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause or provision
of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid, such adjudication shall
apply only to the section, subdivision, clause or provision so adjudged
and the remainder of this ordinance shall be deemed valid and effective.
