It shall be unlawful to manufacture, store or sell fireworks, as defined in § 270.00 of the New York Penal Law, in the City of Yonkers.
A. 
It shall be unlawful to use, discharge or cause to be discharged, ignited, fired or otherwise set in action any fireworks in the City of Yonkers unless a permit is issued by the Commissioner pursuant to § 405.00 of the Penal Code of the State of New York.
B. 
No permit shall be issued pursuant to Subsection A of this section unless the applicant pays the permit fee.
Any fireworks that remain unfired after the display is concluded shall be immediately disposed of in a way safe for the particular type of fireworks remaining.
The Commissioner shall seize, take, remove or cause to be removed, at the expense of the owner, all stocks of fireworks offered or exposed for sale, stored or held in violation of this article.
