A. 
Definition. As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
GUARD DOG
Includes any dog which has been bred for the purpose of and/or trained to act as a guard of persons or property.
B. 
Signs. It is hereby required that any premises, whether commercial or a dwelling, wherein a guard dog is kept shall have displayed on the exterior thereof a sign stating that fact. Said sign shall be in a form prescribed by the Police Commissioner and displayed in such manner as the Commissioner may require.
Any violation of this article shall constitute a Class II offense.
