The Faulkner Act provides that the powers of the Local Board
of Health heretofore exercised by the Eastampton Township Board of
Health are to be exercised by the Township Council of the Township
of Eastampton. Accordingly, there is hereby established a Department
of Health of the Township of Eastampton pursuant to the provisions
of N.J.S.A. 26:3-1 et seq., the head of which shall be the Director

by the State Commissioner of Health, except as otherwise delegated
to the Burlington County Department of Health as per a contract between
the County of Burlington and the Township of Eastampton. Nothing contained
hereinbefore or hereinafter stated shall in any way supersede or revoke
