Wherever a space is marked off on any street for the parking of an individual vehicle, every vehicle parked there shall be parked wholly within the lines bounding that space, and it shall be a violation of this article for any person to park a vehicle or allow it to remain parked otherwise.

A. Parking.
(1) It shall be unlawful for any person to park or to remain parked on any residential street or in any residential area any vehicle other than a passenger car, except as hereinafter set forth below. The term "passenger car" shall not include any trailer, bus, motor home, or passenger car, truck or van attached to a trailer of any kind.
(2) It shall be unlawful for any person to park or allow to remain parked on any residential street or in any residential area any vehicle other than a commercial vehicle not larger than what is commonly known as a pickup truck or van other than when actually making a delivery or engaged in work on such residential street or residential area.
(3) Any passenger car, bus, trailer, motor home, truck, van, or any other vehicle, when parking is otherwise permitted in the Code of Ordinances of Upper Chichester Township, must be parked on approved surfaces.
(4) Notwithstanding anything above to the contrary, it shall be lawful for any person to park or allow to remain parked on any residential street or in any residential area any commercial vehicle not larger than what is commonly known as a pickup truck or van. A commercial vehicle may otherwise be parked on a residential street or in any residential area when the commercial vehicle is actually making a delivery or engaged in work on such residential street or residential area.
B. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances which are inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
C. Severability. If any sentence, clause, section, or part of this subsection is for any reason found to be unconstitutional, illegal, or invalid, such unconstitutionality, illegality or invalidity shall not affect or impair any of the remaining provisions, sentences, clauses, sections or parts of this subsection. It is hereby declared as the intent of the Board of Commissioners that this subsection would have been adopted had such unconstitutional, illegal or invalid sentence, clause, section or part thereof not been included herein.
No person shall park a vehicle, or allow it to remain parked, for longer than the time indicated, in any of the following locations, at any time on the days and between the hours indicated:

It shall be unlawful for any person to stop, stand or park a vehicle (other than a pedalcycle) on the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of any street, except that standing or parking for the purpose of loading or unloading persons or property shall be permitted Monday through Saturday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and between the hours of 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., and for no longer than necessary for the loading or unloading.
Any person who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $15 and costs. Provided: it shall be the duty of the police officers and of parking enforcement personnel of the Township to report to the appropriate official all violations of any provision of this article, indicating, in each case: the section violated; the license number of the vehicle involved in the violation; the location where the violation took place; and any other facts that might be necessary in order to secure a clear understanding of the circumstances attending the violation. The police officer or other person making the report shall also attach to or place upon every such vehicle a notice stating that the vehicle was parked in violation of this article. The notice shall contain instructions to the owner or driver of the vehicle that if he will report to the office of the Chief of Police and pay the sum of $10 within five days after the time of the notice, or if he will place the sum of $10, or enclose in an envelope addressed to the Township that act will save the violator from prosecution and from payment of the fine and costs prescribed in the first sentence of this section.
