A. Hunting by use of firearms and bow and arrow is prohibited within
the Township of Upper Chichester on all municipally owned property.
B. Hunting by the use of firearms and bow and arrow within the Township
of Upper Chichester is otherwise governed by the Game and Wildlife
Code, 34 Pa.C.S.A. § 101 et seq.
It shall be unlawful and it is hereby prohibited for any person
or persons to discharge any shotgun, rifle, firearm, air rifle, BB
gun, or other such weapon, unless licensed to do so, within the Township
of Upper Chichester, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, with the intent
to damage or to destroy any real or personal property belonging to
the Township of Upper Chichester, the School District of the Township
of Upper Chichester, any public utility company, or of any person,
persons, firm or corporation, at any time or place within the Township
of Upper Chichester, unless the consent of the owner of such real
or personal property has first been obtained, or to endanger the life
or limb of any person or persons within the Township of Upper Chichester.
No person shall, except in defense of person or property, or
on a rifle range, under adult supervision, fire any rifle, firearm,
air rifle, BB gun, or other such weapon, within the Township of Upper
Chichester.
It shall hereafter be unlawful and it is hereby prohibited for
any person, persons, firm or corporation to use any bow and arrow
in or about any public street, place, playground or park, except in
an area specifically designated for such use.
Any Township policeman or constable is hereby authorized to
seize and impound any firearm, air rifle, BB gun or other such weapon
which is used in violation of the foregoing provisions.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision
of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay
a fine of not more than $1,000, together with the costs of prosecution,
and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, shall be subject
to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 30 days. Every day that a
violation of this chapter continues shall constitute a separate offense.
