The inhabitants of the Town of Ocean View within the corporate
legal limits legally established from time to time are hereby constituted
and continued a body corporate by the name of "The Town of Ocean View"
with all the privileges of a body corporate by that name to sue and
be sued, to plead and be impleaded in any court of competent jurisdiction,
to have and use a common seal and to have perpetual succession, unless
the Charter and the corporate existence are legally abrogated.
The courses and distances showing the exact Corporate limits
of the Town shall be filed at all times with the Recorder of Deeds
for Sussex County.
The limits and bounds of the Town of Ocean View, upon the date
of adoption of this Charter, are hereby established and declared to
be as follows:
Beginning at a point, said point being a spike set in the center
of Route 26 at the intersection of Route 26 & Assawoman Canal
right-of-way which is 150 feet wide; thence from said point of beginning,
