A. 
In accordance with the administrative regulations promulgated by the Department of Community and Economic Development to implement the Pennsylvania Flood Plain Management Act,[1] the following activities shall be prohibited within any identified floodplain area:
(1) 
The commencement of any of the following activities, or the construction, enlargement, or expansion of any structure used, or intended to be used, for any of the following activities:
(a) 
Hospitals.
(b) 
Nursing homes.
(c) 
Jails or prisons.
(2) 
The commencement of, or any construction of, a new manufactured home park or manufactured home subdivision or substantial improvement to an existing manufactured home park or manufactured home subdivision.

B. 
In addition to those activities referenced in Subsection A next above, the following activities are prohibited within any identified floodplain area:
(1) 
Junkyards.
(2) 
Garden apartments.
(3) 
Multifamily dwellings.
(4) 
Single-family attached (row) dwellings.
(5) 
Two-family detached dwellings.
(6) 
Two-family semidetached dwellings.
(7) 
Dwellings in retirement communities, retirement housing complexes, and nursing and convalescent housing facilities, used for residential or housing purposes.
