The Township Committee shall determine whether cleanup days will be scheduled and the dates and hours during which these may take place.
All residents wishing to participate in any scheduled cleanup day shall be required to purchase a one-trip permit.
A. 
The permit must be presented to and collected by authorized Township personnel before the resident can dispose of any waste material at the collection area on the municipal property during a scheduled cleanup day. Permits are available to residents of West Amwell Township and only for residential waste. No business or commercial waste material will be accepted during a scheduled cleanup day.
B. 
Only West Amwell residents having a one-trip permit for disposal and designated municipal employees will be allowed in the disposal area on cleanup day.

A. 
The cost of permits per load (per trip to the depot) for cleanup days will be:
(1) 
A car permit is $50.
(2) 
A pickup truck permit is $75.
(3) 
A trailer (noncommercial) permit is $100.
B. 
The number of permits sold for a scheduled cleanup event may be limited. Permits must be purchased prior to the cleanup day event at the Clerk's office.
No moving vans, dump trucks, trailers, or U-Haul-type trucks are permitted. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all materials deemed not acceptable. No gasoline, chemicals or other volatile materials or explosives, or concrete, rocks, earth, soil, tree stumps or automobiles will be accepted during cleanup day. Metal will be placed in the designated area and not in a compactor truck. Municipal employees will exercise discretion as to whether materials are suitable for disposal during cleanup day.
