A. 
Collection of fees.
(1) 
Persons seeking to be married or joined in civil union by the Mayor or Deputy Mayor shall remit the applicable fee delineated below to be paid to the Township of Buena Vista:

(2) 
Such fees shall be collected prior to the ceremony and no less than two weeks prior to said ceremony unless otherwise approved by the Township's Registrar of Vital Statistics.
B. 
Compensation and reimbursement of expenses incurred through the performance of marriage and civil union ceremonies.
(1) 
Receipt of fees. The fee shall be paid by check, money order or cash and made payable to the Township of Buena Vista. Fees collected shall be deposited into the Township's current fund.
(2) 
Disbursement of fees. The fees for service may be disbursed to the Mayor or Deputy Mayor through the appropriate budget line items and with appropriate authorization. This payment is less applicable payroll deductions.
