No person, firm, association or corporation shall deposit, place,
put or throw into any of the sewers of the Borough of Clifton Heights
any stones, sand, dirt, gravel, sawdust, metal filings, broken glass,
trees, branches of trees or shrubbery, grass and hedge cuttings, automobile
tires, or automobile parts, household furnishings or items of furniture,
bricks, lumber, cement, concrete, debris, lubricating oil, gasoline,
kerosene or other petroleum product or any other object, matter or
material which might be injurious to or which might interfere with
the proper operation of the sewer system, sanitary, storm or other
system. Nor shall any person, firm, association or corporation place
any such object as hereinbefore described, matter or material where
it might flow, be washed or find its way into any sewer or sewers.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision
of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay
a fine of not more than $1,000, plus costs, and, in default of payment
of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30
days. Every day that a violation of this article continues shall constitute
a separate offense.
