It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation, owner
or occupant of a building or premises to obstruct the sidewalk or
sidewalks adjacent thereto by placing thereon or allowing to be placed
thereon goods or wares for sale or display.

On those sections of Baltimore Avenue zoned commercial, it shall
be unlawful for any person(s), firm or corporation, owner or occupant
of a building or premises abutting Baltimore Avenue to place goods
or wares for sale or display on the sidewalk thereof for a distance
in excess of 30 inches from the wall of any building facing Baltimore
Avenue, provided that the placing of such goods or wares for sale
or display permits an unobstructed space of at least 48 inches between
such goods and wares and the nearest curb of Baltimore Avenue, measured
from the side of such curb closest to the center line of Baltimore
Avenue.
Any owner or occupant of a building or premises who shall fail
to remove such goods or wares within 24 hours after written notice
from the Secretary of the Borough to remove same shall be subject
to the penalties of this article for each day that this article is
violated.

Any person, copartnership, association or corporation who shall
fail, neglect or refuse to comply with any of the terms or provisions
of this article or of any regulation or requirement pursuant thereto
and authorized thereby shall be subject to a fine not less than $25
nor more than $600, plus costs, and, in default of payment of said
fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days.
