An Historic Commission is hereby established in and for the
Borough of Muncy to consist of five members appointed by Borough Council.
Each member shall be appointed for a five-year term, except that the
initial members shall be as follows: one member for a one-year initial
term, one member for a two-year initial term, one member for a three-year
initial term, one member for a four-year initial term, and one member
for a five-year initial term. After the expiration of the term of
office, each member may be reappointed or a new member appointed to
the Commission at the discretion of the Borough Council. Any vacancy
occurring during the term of any member shall be filled by the Borough
Council within 60 days of such vacancy.
