As used in this article, the following terms shall have the indicated meanings:
The residue resulting from the burning of wood, coal or other combustible material.
The storage, collection, disposal or handling of refuse.
All animal and vegetable wastes resulting from the handling, preparation, cooking or consumption of foods.
The person appointed by the Township council to serve in that capacity, and his assistants.
A written license issued by the health officer permitting the operation of a trash transfer station.
All solid wastes, except body wastes, and shall include garbage, ashes and rubbish.
Glass, metal, paper, plant growth, wood or nonputrescible solid wastes.
A controlled disposal site where refuse is dumped into a mobile compactor for further transfer to an ultimate site of disposal.
