[Adopted 1-13-2009 by Ord. No. 2009-1]
An investigation by the Town Engineer on the safe speed limits
has been made on the roads described below to determine a reasonable
and safe speed limit pursuant to § 349.11, Wis. Stats.,
and the Town Board, having received approval from the Wisconsin Department
of Transportation under its authority, accordingly by this article
establishes those speed limits to promote public safety.
The statutory speed limits are decreased as hereinafter set
forth:
A.
Twenty-five-miles-per-hour speed zones. No person shall drive at
a speed in excess of 25 miles per hour on the following Town roads
or parts thereof described below:

B.
The speed limits set forth above in this section shall not apply
to authorized emergency vehicles when operating in emergencies.
Any person who violates § 392-8 shall forfeit a sum equal to that provided in the Wisconsin Revised Uniform Traffic Deposit Schedule, as amended from time to time.
