It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to burn garbage, paper or refuse in open fires anywhere in the Borough, subject to Allegheny County Air Pollution Control Ordinance.

It shall be unlawful for any person or persons in said Borough to light field fires or brush fires in the Borough without first securing written permission from the Fire Marshall, after complying with all the provisions of the Allegheny County Air Pollution Control Ordinance.

Any person who shall violate any provision of this Part shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 plus costs and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days.

All fines and penalties imposed and collected under the provisions of this Part shall be paid into the Borough Treasury for the use of the Borough.
