Village of Richland, MI Single State Construction Code

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 8a of the Stille-DeRossett-Hale single state construction code act, Public Act No. 230 of 1972 (MCL 125.1508a), the Building Official of the Village is hereby designated as the enforcing agency to discharge the responsibility of the Village under such act. The Village assumes responsibility for the administration and enforcement of such act throughout its corporate limits.

Sec. 6-32 Fees.

Permit and inspection fees for the enforcement of the single state construction code shall be adopted by resolution of the Village Council from time to time.

Sec. 6-33 Construction Board of Appeals.

A Village construction Board of Appeals is created and shall consist of five members appointed by the Village Council for three-year terms. The construction Board of Appeals is granted the powers and duties as set forth in Public Act No. 230 of 1972 (MCL 125.1501 et seq.).
