The building permit fee shall be determined and approved by
the Village Board.

There shall be no construction-related activity beyond the hours
of 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m. on Sunday which disturbs the peace and quiet of any neighborhood.
It is hereby declared that all buildings provided with sanitary
sewers are subject to backflow or backwater. Therefore, building drains
on all new construction shall be protected with a backwater valve.
Exception: Where there are no plumbing fixtures located below grade,
push-in flood-guard valves may be installed in all below-grade receptors.
Buildings with no basements are not required to provide backflow protection
unless the building is located in a flood designated area or is being
served by a lift station.
These regulations are adopted under the authority granted by
§§ 101.65 and 101.12, Wis. Stats.
The purpose of this chapter is to promote the general health,
safety and welfare.
The following Wisconsin Administrative Codes, their referenced
codes and standards, and subsequent revisions are adopted for municipal
enforcement by the Building Inspector, who shall be residentially
and commercially certified by the Wisconsin Division of Safety and
Buildings:
A. Chapter SPS 305, Licenses, Certifications and Registrations.
B. Chapter SPS 316, Electrical, which includes adoption of the National
Electrical Code (NEC).
C. Chapter SPS 318, Elevators, Escalators and Lift Devices.
D. Chapters SPS 320 to SPS 325, Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code, excepting
therefrom § SPS 320.05(1), (3) and (5).
E. Chapter SPS 328, Smoke Detectors and Carbon Monoxide Detectors.
F. Chapter SPS 360, Erosion Control, Sediment Control and Storm Water.
G. Chapter SPS 361, Administration and Enforcement, which includes adoption
of the IBC, IECC, IMC and IFGC.
H. Chapter SPS 362, Buildings and Structures, which includes Wisconsin
modifications of the IBC.
I. Chapter SPS 363, Energy Conservation; which includes Wisconsin modifications
of the IECC.
J. Chapter SPS 364, Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning, which
includes Wisconsin modifications of the IMC.
K. Chapter SPS 365, Fuel Gas Appliances, which includes Wisconsin modifications
of the IFGC.
L. Chapter SPS 366, Existing Buildings, which includes adoption of the
IEBC.
M. Chapters SPS 375 to SPS 379, Buildings Constructed Prior to 1914.
N. Chapters SPS 381 to SPS 387, Plumbing.
O. Chapter SPS 390, Design and Construction of Public Swimming Pools
and Water Attractions.
The Building Inspector shall enforce this chapter and shall
be certified by the Department of Safety and Professional Services.
Except as otherwise provided, any person found to be in violation of any provision of this chapter or any order, rule or regulation made hereunder shall be subject to a penalty as provided in §
1-4 of the Code of the Village of Bellevue.
