Town of Hartford, NY Article III Restrictions on Composting Septage and Land Application Facility for Septage

§ 71-5 Composting septage.

A. No person shall compost septage in the Town of Hartford unless all plans and locations are approved by the Town of Hartford and all requirements set forth in Chapter IV of the New York Rules and Regulations Part 360, as may be amended, are satisfied. This section shall apply to all persons, as defined herein.

§ 71-6 Land application facilities.

A. A land application facility for septage will be permitted in the Town of Hartford, provided the conditions set forth in Chapter IV of the New York Rules and Regulations Part 360, as may be amended, are satisfied. Said section is incorporated herein by reference.

B. Any person operating a land application facility for septage must also comply with the application requirements set forth in Chapter IV of the New York Rules and Regulations Sections 360-4.2, 360-4.3 and 360-4.5, as may be amended. Said section is incorporated herein by reference.
