There shall be a Department of Economic Development, the Director of which shall be the Director of Economic Development appointed by the Mayor and City Council in accordance with Section 4.3(e) of the City Charter. The Department of Economic Development shall be responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive business and industrial economic development program.
