Application for a permit required by the provisions of this
Chapter shall describe the work to be done and shall be made in writing
to the Building Official by the person installing such work. The permit,
when issued, shall be to such applicant.

Permit fees shall be ten dollars ($10.00).

If it shall be found that the installation as described in the
application for a permit required by the provisions of this Chapter
is in conformity with the provisions of this Article, and if the applicant
has complied with all of the provisions of this Article, a permit
for such installation shall be issued; provided however, that the
issuance of the permit shall not be taken as permission to violate
any of the provisions of this Article.
