For the purposes of this Chapter, the following words used in
the present tense include the future. The word "shall" is always mandatory and not merely directional:
The hours a park facility is open for use as posted or as
otherwise stated in this Chapter.
The Jefferson County, Missouri, Department of Parks and Recreation.
The disturbance of soils located in the County Parks with
an object larger than one-quarter (¼) inch in diameter and
longer than six (6) inches, or when a hole larger than one-half (½)
inch in diameter or deeper than six (6) inches is produced or when
the disturbed material is not replaced.
The Director of the Jefferson County, Missouri, Department
of Parks and Recreation.
Are interchangeable and shall mean any device that is designed
to eject any projectile. This includes commercially made products
and home made devices.
A device designed for a visual or audible display through
the combustion of explosive or flammable compositions.
One-half (½) hour before sunrise to one-half (½)
hour after sunset, unless otherwise noted in this Chapter.
Any vehicle with an internal combustion engine or electric
motor.
Any method where the individual's hands are used to remove
leaves, rocks or other surface cover and the dislodged material is
replaced. If the disturbed surface material is not replaced the action
shall be considered digging.
Combustion of any fuel in any non-commercially produced apparatus.
Parks, parkways, recreational areas, historical sites and
other such properties under the jurisdiction of or owned and operated
by Jefferson County, Missouri.
Vehicles utilized by the physically disabled that aid in
an individual's mobility. These vehicles are not restricted in the
County Parks.
A seven (7) day period running from Sunday to Saturday.
