A. Licensed Attorney. The office of City Attorney shall be
filled by a licensed and practicing attorney at law in the State.
B. Appointment. The City Attorney's services shall be contracted
for by the Mayor with the advice and approval of the Board of Alderpersons,
to serve for a term commensurate with that of the Mayor and until
his/her successor is appointed and qualified.

The City Attorney shall receive from the City Clerk, whose duty
it shall be to furnish them with same, all copies of ordinances, rules
and regulations adopted by the Board of Alderpersons or by any Board
or Commission of the City, and he/she shall also receive copies of
all minutes of the Board of Alderpersons, Planning and Zoning Commission,
and other Boards and Commissions which keep minutes.
