A.
Borough owner/installed lighting. Unmetered secondary electric service
shall be provided to Borough owned and Borough installed lighting
units. A lighting unit shall consist of a bracket, lead wires, luminaries
and lamps, reactor and photocell.
B.
Standard supply to lighting units. Standard supply to lighting units
will be from aerial wires. If underground service is required, the
customer shall pay the costs of installation and maintenance.
C.
Lamp control. Lamps shall be controlled by a photoelectric cell to
energize the lamp during hours of darkness only.
D.
Maintenance. Maintenance of the lighting unit will be done only during
regular daytime working hours and only after notification by the customer
of the necessity for maintenance.
E.
Service rates. Outdoor lighting service rates shall be established
and changed from time to time by resolution of the Lansdale Borough
Council.
The aforesaid outdoor lighting service shall be provided on
the basis of an initial one-year contract and thereafter from year
to year.
