A.
The Chairman
and the Board of Trustees hereby adopt the personnel policies outlined
in the Village of Marlborough Personnel Manual. A copy of said Personnel
Manual is held on file at the Village offices.
B.
It is
hereby declared to be the intention of the Board of Trustees that
the sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases of the Personnel
Manual are severable and if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph
or section of this manual shall be declared unconstitutional or otherwise
invalid by the valid judgment or decree or any court of competent
jurisdiction, such unconstitutionality or invalidity shall not affect
any of the remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs and sections
of the Personnel Manual, since the same would have been enacted by
the Board of Trustees without the incorporation in this manual of
any such unconstitutional or invalid phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph
or section.
