In accordance with the provisions of Section 59 of the Standard
Traffic Ordinance and when signs are erected giving notice thereof,
drivers of vehicles shall stop or yield, as the sign directs, at every
intersection before entering any of the following streets or parts
of streets which are hereby designated through streets: Johnson Drive,
Martway, U.S. 56 Highway, Lamar, Nall Avenue and Foxridge Drive.

In accordance with the provisions of Section 59 of the Standard
Traffic Ordinance, the following intersections are hereby designated
as stop intersections; and when signs are erected at one (1) or more
entrances as stated, the drivers of vehicles shall stop as provided
by said Section 59 before entering the intersection: Johnson Drive,
Martway, U.S. 56 Highway, Lamar, Nall Avenue and Foxridge Drive.

A. No
person shall at any time drive a motor truck of one (1) ton or more
upon any of the streets of Mission, except the following named streets:
Johnson Drive, Martway, U.S. 56 Highway, Lamar, Nall Avenue, Foxridge
Drive, Roeland Drive, Squibb Road, Broadmoor from 56th Street to 61st
Street and Barkley Street from 58th Street to Martway. This prohibition
shall not apply to motor trucks constructed for the purpose of carrying
passengers. Further, vehicles carrying goods, merchandise or other
articles to and from any house or premises abutting upon any street,
vehicles engaged in the repair or construction of streets, upon which
vehicles other than passenger vehicles are prohibited, shall be permitted
to enter thereon at the cross street nearest to the house or premises
in the direction in which the vehicles are moving and deliver or receive
such goods, merchandise or other articles or repair or remove such
damaged or stalled motorcars, but such vehicle shall not proceed on
said street farther than the nearest street thereafter. Such deliveries
and pickups shall only be permitted between the hours of 7:00 A.M.
and 7:00 P.M. when made within two hundred (200) feet of residential
property.
B. No
owner of a motor vehicle of a State licensing rating of one (1) ton
or more shall allow the vehicle to be driven or parked on any private
property abutting any City street except: Johnson Drive, Martway,
U.S. 56 Highway, Lamar, Nall Avenue, Foxridge Drive, Roeland Drive,
Squibb Road, Broadmoor from 56th Street to 61st Street and Barkley
Street from 58th Street to Martway. This prohibition shall not apply
to motor trucks constructed for the purpose of carrying passengers.
Further, vehicles carrying goods, merchandise or other articles to
and from any house or premises abutting upon any street, vehicles
engaged in the repair or construction of streets, upon which vehicles
other than passenger vehicles are prohibited, shall be permitted to
enter thereon at the cross street nearest to the house or premises
in the direction in which the vehicles are moving and deliver or receive
such goods, merchandise or other articles or repair or remove such
damaged or stalled motorcars; but such vehicle shall not proceed on
said street farther than the nearest street thereafter.

A. Driving Emergency. When snow, sleet or freezing rain is
causing slippery or hazardous conditions which might lead to serious
traffic emergency and until such emergency is terminated, no person
shall operate a motor vehicle on any street in such manner or in such
condition as to allow or permit such vehicle to become stalled by
reason of the fact that the driving wheels of such vehicle are not
equipped with effective tire chains or snow tires.
B. Parking Emergency. Whenever snow has accumulated or there
is a possibility that snow will accumulate, all vehicles parked on
streets must be removed upon either of the following conditions:
1. When snow has accumulated to a depth of four (4) inches or more;
or
2. Any other time as declared by the Mayor or his/her designee.

When snow removal operations have been completed, vehicles may
park on the streets.

A. It
shall be unlawful for any single-unit truck with a gross weight of
fifteen (15) tons or more, any truck-tractor semi-trailer truck with
a gross weight of seventeen (17) tons or more, or any single-unit
truck pulling a full trailer with a gross weight of twenty-two (22)
tons or more to drive upon the Martway Street Bridge over Rock Creek
near the Woodson intersection.
B. Signs
shall be posted to designate these weight limits on the bridge.
C. Any
person violating the provisions of this Section may be fined an amount
not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) or sentenced to jail
for a period of time not to exceed one hundred eighty (180) days.
