It shall be the duty of all the officers of the City to report
annually to the Board of Aldermen, such reports to embrace a full
statement of the receipts and expenditures of their respective offices
and such other matters as may be required by the Board of Aldermen
by ordinance, resolution or otherwise.
The Mayor or Board of Aldermen shall have power, as often as
he/she or they may deem it necessary, to require any officer of the
City to exhibit his/her accounts or other papers or records and to
make report to the Board of Aldermen, in writing, touching any matter
relating to his/her office.

A. The
Board of Aldermen on behalf of the City of Seymour, a "political subdivision"
as defined in Sections 70.600 through 70.755, RSMo., as amended, hereby
elects to have covered by the Missouri Local Government Employees'
Retirement System all its eligible present and future general and
Police employees and to cover such employees under Benefit Program
L9.
B. The
City of Seymour hereby elects that one hundred percent (100%) of prior
employment be considered for prior service credit in computing benefits
and contributions to the system and further elects that all employees
with one thousand five hundred (1,500) or more hours of annual employment,
who are not excluded by State law, to be considered eligible employees.
C. The
City of Seymour hereby elects to have the "final average salary" of
its employee members determined over a thirty-six (36) consecutive-month
period.
D. The
City of Seymour hereby elects to require no contributions from covered
employees.
E. The
City of Seymour hereby elects the regular retirement age for all eligible
employees.
