Three (3) garage/yard sales may be held each calendar year by
one (1) household without a fee, but is required to obtain a permit
from City Hall prior to the first (1st) day of sale.

No garage/yard sale advertisement sign shall be posted on street
signs, road signs or public rights-of-way.

All advertisement signs shall be removed within twenty-four
(24) hours of end of sale.

A. The
penalty for failure to obtain a permit shall be five dollars ($5.00)
for the first (1st) offense: Ten dollars ($10.00) for the second (2nd)
offense; and twenty dollars ($20.00) for the third (3rd) and additional
offenses.
B. The
penalty for each offense of posting an advertisement on a street sign,
road sign or public right-of-way shall be fifty dollars ($50.00).
C. In
addition, a violation of this Article shall result in a revocation
of privilege to have a garage sale through the end of the calendar
year.
