The policy and associated fees and charges for duplicate copies
of real estate billing statements will be as follows:
A.
All payments
received from mortgage companies or their designees must have the
original City of Pittston Real Estate Statement or a duplicate of
such bill accompanied with said payment. In the event such bills are
unattainable, the mortgage company may send a representative to the
Treasurer/Tax Collector's office to secure copies of said bills to
accompany payment. Furthermore, if none of the above options are acceptable
to the mortgage company or its designee, a duplicate copy fee in an
amount as set by resolution of the City Council will be charged.
This article shall become effective August 1, 2011.
