Wherever a space is marked off on any street for the parking of an individual vehicle, every vehicle parked there shall be parked wholly within the lines bounding that space, and it shall be a violation of this article for any person to park a vehicle or allow it to remain parked otherwise.
No person shall park a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in this section, except at the angle designated and only within the painted stall lines. On all streets or portions thereof where angle parking is now or shall hereafter be authorized, all vehicles parked thereon shall be parked with the front thereof nearest the curb.

Any person who violates any provision of this § 455-24 shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $10 and all court costs and all City-incurred costs.

No major recreational vehicle/equipment and/or trailer shall be parked on any City street, alleyway, right-of-way, public property or park except for brief periods, for loading and unloading, fully attended at all times and conducted in a safe manner.

Editor's Note: This ordinance provided that any violation of this ordinance shall result in the issuance of a citation. Upon conviction by the District Magisterial Judge, a penalty of not less than $300 and not more than $1,000 shall be imposed, and also all court costs and City-incurred legal fees shall be added to the fine, and upon default of the fine and/or costs, the guilty party shall serve up to 30 days in the county jail.
Any person who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $10. After five days, all violations will be increased, if not paid or excused, to $25. Failure to respond to a violation within five days will result in additional penalties and court costs being added. Violations may be paid by mail by returning a check or money order (do not mail cash) in the envelope provided or at the Treasurer's office, 35 Broad Street, Pittston, Pennsylvania, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
