Any person willfully defacing, damaging or destroying any article
or material, or any sign or official notice posted within the City
Park shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.

The reservation fee for reserving a pavilion in a City park
shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each day reserved. The reservation
fee for reserving the gazebo shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00)
for each two-hour reservation.

Any person who shall willfully discharge any kind of firearm
or air gun within the limits of the City Park shall be deemed guilty
of a misdemeanor.

Any person driving or parking any motor vehicle in or upon the
grounds of the park other than in or upon the areas designated as
thoroughfares and parking spaces shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.

Any person operating a motor vehicle on the designated thoroughfares
within the City Park shall not be in excess of ten (10) miles per
hour.

Any person or persons entering or remaining upon the park grounds,
or using or attempting to use any of the facilities of the park, swimming
pool or tennis courts after the hour of 10:00 p.m. of any day during
the months of October through April or after the hour of 11:00 p.m.
of any day during the months of May through September unless by the
written authorization of the Mayor, City Administrator or Parks and
Recreation director shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor

Whoever shall be convicted of a misdemeanor under any of the
provisions of this Chapter shall be punished by a fine of not less
than one dollar ($1.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00)
or by imprisonment in the City or County Jail for not more than ninety
(90) days or by both such fine and imprisonment.

It shall be unlawful for anyone to bring or allow into the boundaries
of the City Park any hogs, swine, horses, ponies, cattle and/or goats
or any other large animal known or referred to as livestock or any
wild animals. If there is a special occasion or event that requires
such or there is a need for such animal to be in the City Park, then
the person or persons wishing for the animal to be in the park shall
request in writing special permission from the Mayor to take such
animal or animals into the City Park. The Mayor shall have sole discretion
in granting or denying such permission.

Any organized league may reserve a ball field or ball fields
for league play and practice provided they submit a schedule to be
approved by the Parks and Recreation Director with a one-time annual
fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) paid to the City of Desloge no
later than the fifteenth (15th) day of April for spring and summer
use and no later than the first (1st) day in August for fall use.
The Parks and Recreation Director may approve, amend or reject the
submitted schedule in whole or in part to best coordinate between,
and provide fairness with, other users. No reservations shall be made
for the months of May, June and July until league schedules, if any,
have been considered by the Parks and Recreation Director for the
spring and summer. Other times not included in a league schedule or
users not part of a league may reserve a ball field or ball fields
for play or practice provided they pay a fee of two dollars ($2.00)
per one (1) hour or any fraction thereof to the City of Desloge. Any
organization league or team may reserve any available ball field or
ball fields for tournaments provided they submit a schedule to be
approved by the Parks and Recreation Director. The fee will be one
hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) paid to the City of Desloge for a
weekend (Saturday and Sunday) “only” tournament, per tournament.
Additional days may be reserved, if available, in conjunction with
a weekend tournament at the fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) paid to
the City of Desloge per additional day per tournament. All tournament
reservation fees must be paid in full, and in advance, to block the
dates on the field schedule for a tournament. All fees collected for
field reservations are non-refundable. In the case of inclement weather
“only,” the Parks and Recreation Director will attempt
to accommodate with a make-up day, or days, depending on field availability.
