The City of Savannah, Andrew County, Missouri (hereinafter called
the "municipality") hereby contracts with St. Joseph Light and Power
Company, its successors or assigns (hereinafter called the "company")
for the lighting by the company by means of overhead lights of the
streets, parks and public ways of said municipality.

In consideration of the promises and agreements hereinafter
set out, and the payments herein agreed to be made by the municipality,
it shall be the duty of the company to furnish lighting purposes in
the municipality, and it shall be the duty of the municipality to
accept such lighting services from the company.

The company shall furnish and maintain, and the municipality
shall use and pay for, street lighting services by means of overhead
lights.

All of the lighting services shall be furnished by the company
and paid for by the municipality at the monthly rates.

In the event changes in the number or size of the lamps in use
be requested by the municipality under the terms herein set out, two
(2) copies of such request, duly signed by the Mayor and attested
by the Clerk/Treasurer, shall be forwarded to the company. Such changes
shall be effective upon approval by the company. One (1) copy of each
such approved request shall be returned to the Clerk/Treasurer.

The company shall exercise due care in maintaining said lights
in proper order so that the lighting and service provided for herein
may be of satisfactory character.
