Section 140.160 Identity Theft Prevention Program.

The City of Marshfield utility has been charged with creating and implementing an Identity Theft Protection Program, pursuant to the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003 (15 U.S.C. Section 1681s(a)(1)) and by Federal Trade Commission rule (16 C.F.R. Section 681). The Board of Aldermen has reviewed and approved the Identity Theft Prevention Program for the City's municipal utility which is on file in the City offices with this Section and as required by 16 C.F.R. Section 681.2(e)(1).
