A. The position of Finance Director shall be appointed by the Mayor
and approved by the Board and shall serve under the Mayor and Board
of Aldermen supervision. The Finance Director shall have the following
duties and responsibilities:
1.
Supervision of the accounting system.
2.
Prepare the annual budget.
3.
Prepare all reports for publication.
4.
Coordinate independent audits.
5.
Facilitate all banking transactions and ensure compliance with
banking contracts.
6.
Prepare and file all State and Federal financial reports.
7.
Evaluate all grant requests and requests for disbursement.
