The following general changes are made to the International Mechanical Code 2015:
A. 
Delete "ICC Electric Code" in its entirety and insert "NEC 2014."
B. 
Delete "ICC Plumbing Code" in its entirety and insert "Illinois Plumbing Code, most current edition."
The following amendments, additions and deletions to the International Mechanical Code 2015 are adopted:
A. 
Section 101.1 is amended to read as follows:
101.1 Title.
These regulations shall be known as the "Mechanical Code for the Village of Homer Glen."
B. 
Section 101.2.1 is amended to read as follows:
101.2.1 Appendices.
Appendix A, Combustion Air Openings and Chimney Connector Pass-Throughs, is specifically adopted by the Village and shall apply.
C. 
Section 106.5.2 is amended to read as follows:
106.5.2 Fee schedule.
The fees for work shall be as indicated in Chapter 75, Article I, Part 15, Schedule of Building Permit Fees, of the Homer Glen Village Code.
D. 
Section 107.2 Required inspections and testing, Item 1, is amended as follows:

Interior and exterior underground inspections shall be made after trenches or ditches are excavated and bedded, piping installed, and before backfill is put in place. When excavated soil contains rocks, broken concrete, frozen chunks and other rubble that would damage or break the piping or cause corrosive action, clean backfill shall be on the job site.
E. 
Section 201.3, Terms defined in other codes, shall be amended as follows: Delete "ICC Electrical Code" and "International Plumbing Code" and insert "NEC 2014" and "Illinois State Plumbing Code, current edition."
