Village of Homer Glen, IL ARTICLE II Adoption of State Handicapped Parking Restrictions

Part 2 Section Adopted by Reference; Administrative Adjudication

§ 200-4 Adoption by reference.

Section 5/11-1301.3 of the State of Illinois Vehicle Code (625 ILCS), entitled "Unauthorized Use of Parking Places Reserved for Persons with Disabilities," is hereby adopted and by reference made a part of this article with the same force and effect as though set out in full herein.

§ 200-5 Administrative adjudication of violations.

An alleged violation of the section of the State of Illinois Vehicle Code enumerated in § 200-4 shall be considered a violation of this article and shall be subject to administrative adjudication pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 1, Article III, Penalties and Enforcement, of the Village Code.

§ 200-6 Authority to issue citations.

The Village Code Enforcement Officer and Will County Deputy Sheriff's police officers are authorized to issue citations for violations of this article.

§ 200-7 Penalty. [1]

Any person violating this article shall be fined not less than $250 nor more than $1,000. Each day that a violation exists shall constitute a separate offense.
