The City Administrator shall appoint
some suitable person to the office of City Collector. Said appointment
need not be confirmed by the City Council to be valid.

The City Collector's office shall
be responsible for collecting City taxes and fees.

The City Collector shall diligently
endeavor and use all lawful means to collect all taxes which he/she
is required to collect.

The City Collector shall receive
as compensation for his/her services a salary as set by the City Council.
