Village of Chatham, NY Article I Horses

§ 30-1 Riding or leading on sidewalks or private property.

No person shall ride or lead a horse or pony upon any sidewalk or public footpath in the Village of Chatham, and no person shall ride or lead any horse or pony upon any private property within the Village without the consent of the owner or occupant thereof.

§ 30-2 Penalties for offenses.

Any person who shall violate any provision of this article shall be subject to a fine of not more than $250 or imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both, for each such violation.
