No dwellings, apartments, boarding houses, hotels, commercial
buildings, youth camps, or commercial camps and commercial camping
facilities shall be constructed in the Town unless the plans for the
subsurface sewage disposal systems in connection with the same have
been approved by the Director of Health, or the Director’s authorized
agent.

No subsurface sewage disposal system shall be constructed, altered,
or repaired without having the plan approved by the Director of Health
or the Director’s authorized agent. The plan shall be approved
for a subsurface sewage disposal system after review and determination
of compliance with the Connecticut Public Health Code.

(a) All applications for permits to construct, alter, or repair subsurface
sewage disposal systems shall be filed with the Director of Health
or the Director’s authorized agent. Each application for a permit
shall be accompanied by plans of the proposed subsurface sewage disposal
system.
(b) The fee which shall accompany the application for a permit for new
construction or major repairs shall be $175, payable to the Town.
(c) The fee which shall accompany the application for a permit for a
minor repairs shall be $60, payable to the Town.

The owner or agent of any building who shall violate any provision of this article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine in accordance with §
1-10.
